Job Title - Finance Manager

Industry - FMCG – Cosmetics

Location - Tradefair, Lagos

Budget: 6m to 7.5m annual gross

Job Purpose

The Finance Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the company’s financial structure, controls, and reporting systems during its transition phase. The role focuses on moving the organization from basic financial handling to a structured, compliant, and data-driven finance function.

The ideal candidate must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of building financial systems, processes, and discipline from the ground up while supporting management with accurate financial insight for decision-making.

Fully functional finance structure and reporting framework.

Standard accounting policies and internal controls.

Accurate monthly management accounts.

Clear visibility of cash flow position at all times.

Reliable landed cost and product margin analysis.

Improved financial discipline and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

5–8 years relevant finance and accounting experience.

Prior experience in importation, distribution, FMCG, or trading environments is an advantage.

Experience setting up finance systems in SMEs or transitioning companies is highly desirable.
