Hiring: Battery Engineer – Koolboks

Location: Lagos

Koolboks is looking for an experienced Battery Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop lithium-ion battery packs and energy storage systems.

Develop and optimize Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Conduct battery testing, validation, and performance analysis.

Improve battery safety, reliability, and lifecycle performance.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Energy, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.

3–4+ years' experience in battery engineering, EV systems, or energy storage.

Strong knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, BMS, charging systems, and battery testing.

Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar analysis tools is an advantage.
