About the Role

For our client, we are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and modern data engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Build and optimize data ingestion processes from multiple data sources.

- Develop and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.

- Create and maintain data models using dbt.

- Build and optimize cloud data warehouse solutions in BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms.

- Work with streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka and Spark Streaming.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering.

- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, PySpark).

- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.

- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Experience with Git and version control best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Apache Kafka and real-time data streaming.

- Knowledge of DBT and modern data stack principles.

- Experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

- Familiarity with Great Expectations, Grafana, and Datadog.

- Exposure to Terraform and cloud infrastructure management.

- Google Professional Data Engineer Certification.

- AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty Certification.
