Job Title: *Systems Monitoring Officer*

*Position Overview*
Accountable for the real-time surveillance, performance tracking, and issue detection across core IT systems, applications, and network infrastructures. This role requires an individual with a robust IT background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the discipline to ensure round-the-clock system health, uptime, and integrity in a fast-paced financial environment.

*Key Responsibilities*
- Monitor IT systems, software applications, servers, and network performance using established tools and dashboards.
- ⁠Detect and escalate irregularities, performance drops, and system alerts in a timely and structured manner.
- ⁠Maintain incident logs, generate reports, and ensure swift resolution of minor IT issues under supervision.
- ⁠Conduct basic diagnostics and first-level support for system interruptions before escalation.
- ⁠Coordinate with IT Infrastructure and Application
- ⁠Support teams for resolution and preventive actions.

*Minimum Requirements*
- B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT-related field.
- ⁠Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within a financial, fintech, or technology-driven environment.
- ⁠Strong knowledge of computer systems, IT infrastructure, and network environments.
- ⁠Sound understanding of IT system architecture and how components interact (servers, databases, apps, firewalls, etc.).
- ⁠Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux basics is an added advantage.
