We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Truck Driver
Locations: Asaba - Delta & Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks for the delivery, pick-up, and transportation of goods.
- Inspect vehicles daily before use to ensure roadworthiness (brakes, lights, tires, oil, fuel, water, etc.).
- Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and delivered safely and on time.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and mileage reports.
- Comply with road safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Report accidents, delays, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
- Keep trucks clean, fueled, and well-maintained.
- Ensure proper handling of delivery documents (waybills, invoices, receipts, etc.).
Key Requirements (Qualifications, Skills & Experience)
- Valid driver’s license (appropriate category for trucks).
- Proven experience as a truck driver (5–7years).
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes.
- Ability to drive long hours and travel frequently.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Physically fit with good vision.
- Integrity, reliability, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Time management and puntuality
- Problem-solving skills in handling road or vehicle challenges.
