We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Control Officer to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking or microfinance and a proven track record of ensuring compliance, strengthening internal processes, and supporting audit functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

- Review operational processes to identify control gaps.

- Monitor all departments for adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.

- Prepare internal control reports with actionable recommendations.

- Support both external and internal audit exercises.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal control, audit, or compliance within the banking or microfinance sector.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
