Atlantic Palms Suites is seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and food, ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals, managing tables, and delivering outstanding service in a timely manner.

Job description

•Welcoming guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables

•Present menus, answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverages, focusing on customer satisfaction.

•Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff and bartenders.

•Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation standards.

•Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any guest complaints or issues swiftly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience.

•Clear and reset tables between guests and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area

•Process bills and payments accurately, following the hotel’s POS and cash handling policies

•Assist with setting up the dining area before service and closing down afterward

•Comply with all food and beverage regulations, hygiene standards, and hotel policies

•Upsell additional products when appropriate (e.g. desserts, drinks, specials)

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service and a well-maintained environment.

•Adhere to company policies regarding uniform, punctuality, and conduct.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND in a relevant field.

• 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel.

• Proficient in waiting tables, food service, and customer satisfaction practices.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• High attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.

• Positive attitude, team player, and customer-focused mindset.

Renumeration & Benefits:
