Job Opening: Learning and Development Officer

Role Summary:
Our client seeks a detail-oriented Learning and Development Officer to support the design, coordination, and execution of training initiatives across the organization. The role involves organizing cost-effective training programs, evaluating trainee progress, supporting departmental training needs, and staying informed on emerging HR technologies and best practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in L&D, strong presentation and reporting skills, and a passion for driving employee development within a structured FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
• Organizing training materials and training programs, as well as ensuring that the costs of planned programs don't exceed the provided budget.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees, work with department managers to assess training and development needs and provide management with trainees’ program reports.
• Assisting with the design of training materials for existing employees and new hires, as well as resolving any training-related issues that may arise.
• Researching new HR technologies and training software solutions, and expected to stay up to date with the latest developments and news in the Human Resources field • First degree or is equivalent in Business administration or any other relevant discipline.
• Professional certification in HR Management e.g. CIPM, SPHR, CIPD, etc. will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in learning and development
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in a manufacturing and FMCG is an added advantage.
Minimum Requirement
What we Offer
• Salary budget: 240,000 – 290,000 (Monthly Gross, based on experience)
• Annual Leave Allowance
• 13th month, HMO
