About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Account Officer to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role requires someone with solid accounting knowledge, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of transactions

- Prepare and review financial reports including income statements and balance sheets

- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts

- Handle accounts payable and receivable

- Monitor budgets and track company expenditures

- Process payroll and manage statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, etc.)

- Assist with internal and external audits

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

- Liaise with banks, vendors, and tax authorities as needed

Requirements

- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Excel)

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax, and compliance requirements

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
