Job Role

The Operations Manager ensures the restaurant runs efficiently and profitably.
They manage daily operations, monitor service quality, oversee kitchen and service staff, and implement business strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow across kitchen and service teams.
Implement SOPs for food safety, hygiene, customer service, and cash handling.
Monitor inventory, supplier relationships, and stock control to prevent waste and shortages.
Manage budgets, cost control, and P&L performance.
Ensure high-quality guest experience and resolve escalated customer complaints.
Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and adherence to performance standards.
Drive sales through promotions, upselling, and customer retention strategies.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Customer Satisfaction: Customer feedback scores, complaint resolution rate.
Financial Performance: Monthly revenue vs. target, food & labor cost percentages.
Operational Efficiency: Table turnover rate, average order preparation time.
Inventory Management: 0% of stock wastage, variance between recorded vs. actual stock.
Staff Productivity: Staff punctuality, shift adherence, and performance ratings.
Health & Safety Compliance: Zero critical violations during inspections.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
4–6 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
Deep knowledge of restaurant KPIs, service standards, and food safety regulations.
Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and solve problems quickly.
Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Office.

Salary
N250,000 - N280,000 / month.
