Job Title: IT Specialist
Location: Lagos (Remote / Work From Home (100% Remote Opportunity)
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: 8-hour standard shift; may range from 8am EST – 6pm EST (2pm to 10:30pm WAT)
(Primary shift: 8am – 4:30pm EST, based on company needs) (2pm to 10:30pm WAT)
Job Summary
- The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining internal systems, providing technical support, and building/maintaining the company website.
- This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- The position is fully remote and requires the ability to support staff across multiple platforms and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for internal tools such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Provide remote IT support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Monitor and maintain performance and security of the healthcare practice’s IT infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and support domain/email management using GoDaddy or similar platforms
- Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Build and maintain the practice’s website to ensure usability, security, and regular updates
- Website development
- App development
- Manage EHR (Electronic Health Record) system access and user accounts
- Implement and manage data backup solutions and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers
- Stay updated on healthcare IT best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CompTIA A+ Certification — preferred
- Relevant IT certifications — a plus
- Experience with website and app development
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and system security.
Skills & Competencies:

- Strong Computer Literacy.
Role-Specific Skills
- Proven experience as an IT Technician, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with computer systems, networks, and related technologies
- Strong understanding of website development and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)
- Ability to manage Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Understanding of healthcare IT standards and data protection requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
- Ability to collaborate with external service providers.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
