Associates Consulting Limited - Our client is a Fast-growing Indigenous Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Oil and Gas Group with interests in oil and gas exploration and production, gas processing, petrochemical/fertilizer production, and power.
They are currently expanding with some pipeline projects around the country, and they are recruiting to fil the position below:
Job Title: Civil Surveyor (Pipeline)
Locations: Akwa Ibom, Delta, Imo and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Survey and Control Engineer
Role Summary
- The Civil Surveyor should understand the distribution of roles, responsibilities and challenges related to surveying work on pipeline operations within the organisation or project.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Route Surveying – Conducting surveys to determine the optimal pipeline route, considering environmental, geological and topological factors.
- Alignment and Stakeout – Surveying and staking out the pipeline alignment to ensure accurate construction and installation.
- Topographic Mapping – Creating detailed topographic maps of the pipeline route to support design and construction activities.
- Right-of-Way (ROW) Surveying – Surveying and mapping the pipeline right-of-way to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to identify potential hazards.
- As-Built Surveying – Conducting as-built surveys to verify the pipeline’s final position and ensure that it matches the designed alignment and elevation.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering or a HND/Degree in any course.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
