*Job Summary:*

This role is designed to strengthen client entrenchment, reduce dormancy, and accelerate product uptake through proactive, strategic customer engagement. The Entrenchment Consultant operates as a frontline value amplifier, interacting with personal clients via structured outbound calls to drive digital adoption, funding activity, cross-selling of financial products, and customer lifetime value.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Engage personal clients post-onboarding to build early loyalty and deepen wallet share

- ⁠Drive funding activity, mobile/USSD uptake, and card activation through solution-oriented conversations

- ⁠Execute cross-sell campaigns and tailor recommendations to clients’ financial objectives

- ⁠Conduct structured customer surveys to assess satisfaction and pain points

- ⁠Maintain logs of client feedback and identify themes for escalation, resolution, and process improvement

- ⁠Refer unresolved service issues to appropriate units while ensuring full closure and client satisfaction

- ⁠Contribute data and insights for product innovation, customer experience improvement, and service personalization

*Minimum Requirements:*

- First degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (minimum 2:2)

- ⁠1–2 years in personal banking, customer engagement, telesales, or client entrenchment role

- ⁠Demonstrated knowledge of retail banking products, customer behaviour, and digital banking solution.

- ⁠Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

- ⁠Confidence in outbound client conversations and objection handling
