About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and ready to grow within a structured team.

Key Responsibilities

- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions

- Maintain general ledgers and reconcile bank statements

- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audits

- Support budgeting and forecasting activities

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

- Manage petty cash and expense reports

- Assist with inventory and fixed asset tracking

Requirements

- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience (NYSC experience may be considered)

- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)

- Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial principles

- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proximity to Ebute Metta is a strong advantage
