Job Overview

Our client, a leading player in the life insurance industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and drive sales operations across multiple teams. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in recruiting, training, and managing insurance sales agents, along with a proven ability to deliver on sales targets and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the recruitment and onboarding of high-performing insurance sales agents to meet business growth objectives.

- Design and implement effective training and development programs to enhance agent performance and product knowledge.

- Set and monitor sales targets for teams and individual agents, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to agents and team leads to foster a high-performance culture.

- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, generating actionable insights and regular reports.

- Ensure consistent adherence to compliance standards and ethical selling practices in line with industry regulations.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales strategies and campaigns.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions where necessary.

- Drive agent motivation and retention through incentives, recognition, and clear career progression pathways.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in life insurance sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role.

- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and lead successful insurance sales teams.

- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching abilities.

- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.

- B.Sc./HND in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
